Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician

$40.00 - $46.00 per hour

Edmonton

Contract Duration: 2 years
Shift Type: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, with potential overtime and weekend work

Main Duties:

• Maintain and repair tandem, triaxle, water, vacuum, and pressure trucks, as well as light-duty vehicles.
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• Diagnose faults using co1nputerized and other testing equipment.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with 1nanufacturers'
specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work.
• Instruct apprentices.
• Service attachments and working tools.

Job Requirements:

• Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Journeyman certificate or Registered Apprentice.
• Reliable, adaptable, and safety-conscious with a positive attitude.
• Preferred experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Successfully pass Pre-Employment Alcohol and Drug Screening Test.
• Valid driver's license with a good standing abstract.
