Sandwich Artist

A sandwich artist is responsible for crafting sandwiches to customer specifications, following established recipes and procedures. This role includes food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety, organizing supplies, ensuring food quality, and assisting during busy periods.

Responsibilities

- Prepare sandwiches according to instructions
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety standards
- Organize and store food and supplies
- Monitor food safety and sanitation practices
- Check ingredient quality and freshness
- Assist during busy service periods

Qualifications

- TCF Canada or TEF Canada with NCLC 5 minimum in the four language skills REQUIRED
- Job-ready English REQUIRED
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking or food service experience preferred
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow directions and take initiative
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
