Newfoundland and Labrador posts two ITA rounds: 120 on Oct. 23 and 85 on Oct. 29, 2026

What changed

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador updated its Invitations to Apply page on October 29, 2026. Two new rounds were added to the table:

• October 23, 2026: 120 Invitations to Apply (ITAs), all under NLPNP (NLPNP – 120).
• October 29, 2026: 85 ITAs, split as NLPNP – 75 and AIP – 10.

Background

According to the page, the Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism (OIM) launched an Expression of Interest (EOI) Model for all economic immigration applications on February 19, 2025. OIM reviews EOIs and issues ITAs in batches throughout the year, using EOI prioritization criteria to guide its decisions. The table is updated when ITAs are issued.
