Step 1: Initial consultation

Every file starts with a consultation with Anasse Boulbaroud, Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (CICC licence R706303). It's a 30-minute video consultation ($150; same day: $250), and in it we:

  • look at your goals and your situation
  • go through the programs and requirements that may apply to you, and the challenges we see
  • give you a clear plan for your next steps

Before the consultation you e-sign a short consultation agreement, as the College requires. A consultation on its own doesn't create an ongoing representation relationship.

After the consultation you choose how you'd like to continue: on your own, with an application review, or with full handling.

Option 1: Application review (you stay in control)

This suits you if you prefer to prepare your application yourself and want a professional check before you submit.

  • What it is: a 90-minute online meeting ($500) where we go through the forms and documents you've already prepared.
  • What you get: specific feedback, corrections to make, and points that could raise questions, so you can fix them before you submit.
  • What it isn't: representation. We aren't declared as your representative, and you submit the application to IRCC yourself.
  • How to book: online. Upload or bring your documents before the session.

Option 2: Full handling (we manage your file)

We take charge of preparing and managing your application, from the service agreement to IRCC's decision.

  1. Service agreement and file opening. We send a written service agreement with the scope, the fee and the timeline. When you sign it, you pay 50% of the professional fee, the file-opening fee. It covers opening your file, setting up your client portal and administrative onboarding, and it's non-refundable.

  2. Your client portal (Lexova). You get your own secure access to Lexova, one of the most advanced client portals for immigration files (see how it compares). It's a significant investment by ANAS CANADA in the quality of our service. In it you:

    • fill in information forms prepared for your case
    • upload documents against your personalized checklist
    • follow your file's progress step by step
    • exchange messages and documents with us securely, in one place

Working this way keeps your file accurate and complete, catches missing or inconsistent information early, and gives both you and your consultant a clear record of every step.

  3. Preparation. Once your forms and documents are complete, we review everything, prepare the application and finalize it with you. For most standard applications this usually takes about 3 business days; complex files take longer.

  4. Second payment. When the application is ready, we send you the invoice for the remaining 50%.

  5. Submission. Once the second payment is received, we submit your application to IRCC as your declared representative.

  6. Follow-up until the decision. We follow your file with IRCC, answer requests for documents or information, and keep you informed until a decision is made.

Two-stage programs. PNPs, the AIP, the RCIP and FCIP and Québec's programs add a provincial-stage payment between the two halves if a province or program invites you: see two-stage programs.

Throughout, you reach your file team through Lexova (or by email), in English, French or Arabic.

What stays the same in every option

  • Published fees. Consultation prices and full-service fees are on the fees page. Government fees are separate.
  • Written agreements. Every engagement is in writing before work starts.
  • No guarantees. Decisions belong to IRCC, ESDC and the provinces; no one can guarantee an outcome.
  • What we don't do: representation before the Immigration and Refugee Board or the Federal Court, and arranging job offers. See our scope of practice.
