What it is
The same 30-minute consultation as a regular one, with Anasse Boulbaroud, RCIC, on the day you book.
You can book up to 1 hour before the start time, for any slot still free today. It costs $250, compared with $150 for a regular consultation.
Who it's for
- You have a deadline in the next few days and need advice before you act.
- You've received a letter from IRCC, such as a procedural fairness letter or a request for documents, and want to understand it.
- Your status in Canada is about to expire and you need to know your options.
- Something changed suddenly: a job loss, a separation, a new job offer or a trip you have to take.

- The urgent issue first: what it means, your options and the deadlines involved.
- Clear next steps you can act on right away.
- Answers in English, French or Arabic.
What it doesn't include
- A slot on demand. Same-day times depend on what's free that day. If none are left, book the next regular consultation.
- Writing or sending a reply to IRCC for you. If you need that, we can discuss a service agreement.
- A check of a full application package. Book an application review for that.
- No guarantee of an outcome: the decision always belongs to the government.
How it works

Choose Same-day consultation on the booking page. Only today's free times appear, starting at least 1 hour from now.
- Sign the consultation agreement
Before you pay, you read and e-sign a short agreement, as the College's Code of Professional Conduct requires. It sets out the scope, the fee and Anasse's licence number.
- Pay online
The fee is paid in full when you book. Applicable taxes are shown before you confirm.
- Get your confirmation
An email arrives with the date, the time in your time zone and your Zoom link.
- Meet on Zoom
You talk with Anasse Boulbaroud, RCIC, in English, French or Arabic. In-person meetings in Calgary can be arranged.
- Decide what comes next
Carry on by yourself, book an application review, or ask us to handle your file under a written service agreement.

- The letter, email or document that prompted the call, ready to share on screen.
- Any deadline, with the exact date.
- Your passport and your current permit or status document.
- Your IRCC application number or UCI, if you have one.
- The two or three questions you most need answered.

Cancelling or rescheduling
- Free up to 48 hours before your appointment, with a full refund.
- Less than 48 hours before: a $20 fee applies and the rest is refunded.
- If you don't attend and haven't cancelled, the fee isn't refunded.
- If a technical problem on our side interrupts the call, we reschedule at no cost.

What if there are no same-day times left?
Then today is fully booked. Book the earliest regular consultation, or email us if you need help finding an earlier time.
How late can I book?
Up to 1 hour before the start time, for slots on today's date in Calgary.
Is it different from a regular consultation?
The content and the length are the same. Only the timing and the price differ.
Can I cancel a same-day booking?
Yes, but a same-day appointment is always less than 48 hours away, so the $20 cancellation fee applies and the rest is refunded. If you miss it without cancelling, the fee isn't refunded.
No one can guarantee an immigration outcome. Decisions are made by IRCC, ESDC, the provinces and Québec.
