What it is
A study permit lets you study at a designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada. Most applicants also need a provincial or territorial attestation letter (PAL/TAL).
We check your documents against IRCC's current rules, help you explain your study plan clearly and submit the application. We also handle extensions and family members coming with you.
Who it's for
- You've been accepted by a DLI, or expect your letter of acceptance soon.
- You were refused a study permit and want to reapply with a stronger file.
- You're in Canada and your study permit needs an extension.
- Your spouse or children will come with you.
What you get
- A written service agreement with the scope, the fee and the timeline.
- Your own access to Lexova, the client portal we use, one of the most advanced client portals for immigration files (see how it compares): forms tailored to your case, a personalized document checklist, progress tracking and secure messages, so your file stays accurate and complete and is easy for you and your consultant to follow.
- A check of your letter of acceptance, PAL/TAL and proof of funds against current requirements.
- Help with your study plan and letter of explanation, in your own words.
- Submission to IRCC as your declared representative, and follow-up until the decision.
What it doesn't include
- Choosing a school or applying for admission.
- Government fees (study permit and biometrics), tuition and the funds you must show.
- Scholarships, loans or housing.
- No guarantee: IRCC decides every application.
How it works
- Consultation
We look at your situation and confirm that this service fits before you commit to anything.
- Service agreement and file opening
You get a written agreement with the scope, the fee and the timeline. At signing you pay 50% of the fee, the file-opening fee. It covers opening your file, setting up your client portal and administrative onboarding, and it's non-refundable.
- Your Lexova client portal
You work in Lexova, the client portal we use, one of the most advanced client portals for immigration files (see how it compares). You complete forms tailored to your case, upload documents to your personalized checklist, follow your file's progress and exchange messages and documents securely. It keeps your file accurate and complete, and makes tracking and file management easy for you and your consultant.
- Preparation
Once your forms and documents are complete, we review everything and prepare the application with you. For most standard applications this usually takes about 3 business days; complex files take longer.
- Second payment
When the application is ready, we send you the invoice for the remaining 50%.
- Submission
Once it's paid, we submit your application to IRCC as your declared representative.
- Follow-up until the decision
We follow your file, answer requests for documents or information, and keep you informed until a decision is made.
Processing times are set by the government and change often. For current estimates, see IRCC's processing times page.

Questions
How much money do I need to show?
Your first year's tuition and travel, plus IRCC's minimum for living costs, which it updates regularly. We check the current figure for your file.
Can my spouse work while I study?
Only some spouses qualify for an open work permit, depending on your program, such as a master's of 16 months or more or a doctorate. We check whether yours does.
I was refused before. Should I reapply?
First find out why. We can request the officer's notes, then decide with you whether a new application can address the reasons.
No one can guarantee an immigration outcome. Decisions are made by IRCC, ESDC, the provinces and Québec.
