About the SINP

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) nominates workers for permanent residence. After nomination, you apply to IRCC, which makes the final decision. In 2026, Saskatchewan steers most nominations toward priority sectors, so intake is limited for some occupations.

Current streams (as of 2026-10-10)

International Skilled Worker Occupation In-Demand Open, sector limits apply

How selection works

  • Expression of interest (EOI). International Skilled Worker candidates submit an EOI and must be selected before they can apply. Saskatchewan states that there are no scheduled EOI draws.
  • Sector model for 2026. At least 50% of nominations go to priority sectors, and nominations in capped sectors are limited to 25%.
  • Overseas applicants. Approvals for applicants outside Canada are limited to health, agriculture and trades.

Check the SINP FAQs for the current list of priority and capped sectors.

The 2026 allocation

Saskatchewan's initial 2026 allocation is 4,761 (3,625 in 2025). Its processing statistics table shows 5,261; the province has not explained the extra 500, so we report the initial figure.

Recent changes

  • 2026-09-30: SINP processing statistics updated.
  • 2026: sector model in force (50% minimum for priority sectors, 25% cap for capped sectors).
  • 2025-03-27: the Entrepreneur, International Graduate Entrepreneur and Farm streams closed.

How we can help

Anasse Boulbaroud, RCIC, can check whether your occupation falls in a priority or capped sector, review your EOI and documents, and prepare the IRCC application after nomination. Saskatchewan and IRCC make every decision, so no one can promise a nomination or an approval. Book a consultation.
