About the NLPNP
The Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) nominates workers, graduates and entrepreneurs for permanent residence. After nomination, you apply to IRCC, which makes the final decision. The province also takes part in the federal Atlantic Immigration Program.

How selection works
- Expression of interest (EOI). Since 2025-02-19, the NLPNP and the province's AIP endorsements use an EOI model. You submit an EOI, and the province invites selected candidates to apply. Read the EOI model overview.
- EOI validity: 12 months.
- Application window: if invited, you have 30 days to submit your application.
- Rounds: each round is posted on the invitations to apply updates page; the latest entry we saw was dated 2026-10-09.
The 2026 allocation
The province's 2025 allocation was 2,525, including the AIP. We could not confirm the 2026 figure on an official source.
Recent changes
- Since September 2026: very few AIP invitations per round.
- 2025-02-19: EOI model introduced for the NLPNP and the AIP; application window cut to 30 days.

How we can help
Anasse Boulbaroud, RCIC, can review your EOI, help you prepare documents in advance so you can meet the 30-day window, and prepare the IRCC application after nomination. The province and IRCC make every decision, so no one can promise an invitation or an approval. Book a consultation.
