About the PEI PNP
Prince Edward Island runs its own Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP). Like other provinces, it nominates people who meet its labour-market needs and intend to live in PEI. After nomination, you apply to IRCC, which makes the final decision. PEI also takes part in the federal Atlantic Immigration Program.
Current streams and status
As of 2026-10-11, we have not confirmed PEI's current streams or its 2026 allocation on the official website, which blocks automated checks. We don't list stream details we can't verify.
Expression of interest draws in 2026
PEI's draws page lists 10 draws from 2026-01-15 to 2026-10-07, with 1,319 invitations in total, all in the Labour and Express Entry categories; no business (Work Permit Entrepreneur) invitations were issued. The latest draws were on 2026-09-17 (195 invitations) and 2026-10-07 (90). PEI says it is prioritizing skilled workers in higher-demand sectors such as health care, trades and manufacturing, and that people working in sales and service may not be invited at this time.
Before you plan anything, read the Government of Prince Edward Island's expression of interest page and the current program guides on the same site. They describe:
- the streams that are open;
- how expressions of interest are scored and selected;
- the dates and results of recent draws.

How we can help
Anasse Boulbaroud, RCIC, can review the current PEI guides with you, check whether a stream fits your situation, and prepare the IRCC application after nomination. PEI and IRCC make every decision, so no one can promise a nomination or an approval. Book a consultation.
